Private Shopping, Prosecco & More....

We are often told by customers at this time of year that they wish they had the shop to themselves to do their Christmas shopping in peace! Our little store does certainly get busy as the days get shorter and so we've been thinking of ways to help.

When in times of trouble we normally turn to a good glass of chilled prosecco and (arguably!) Italy's most famous alcoholic export has provided the inspiration once again.

We are hosting a number of "private" shopping events, reserved only for a limited number of ticket holders. For £15 we will treat you to plentiful prosecco and a range of our favourite meats and cheeses and you'll have the chance to browse the shelves in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We'll be offering a 10% discount on any purchases made on the night and we can happily organise deliveries to any UK destination. There is of course no need to buy anything and we will be delighted to welcome you for an evening drink and nibbles!

Update - 2nd December, 2016

We held our first shopping and prosecco evening last Monday and it was a great success. It was lovely getting to know our customers in a more relaxed setting and once the prosecco started flowing everyone seemed to get along very happily. It felt more like a friend’s cocktail party than anything else!

We certainly over catered but we’ve always subscribed to the you-can-never-have-too-much school of thought, and certainly when it comes to prosecco, cheese and brownies! So please do join us next week for some more shopping and festive cheer!
