Made from either ground almonds or almond paste along with sugar and egg whites, Amaretti take their name from bitter almonds with which these little biscuits are flavoured. Our Traditional Amaretti are made to a classic Italian recipe, with a delicate crunch giving way to a soft, chewy centre and an intense almond flavour. Presented in a beautifully designed Lina Stores tin, they make a timeless treat to enjoy with an espresso, a glass of dessert wine, but they are also a delicious addition or ingredient in many desserts. Lovely on its own, the tin can be reused as a spaghetti container afterwards.
