"Lady Fingers" are a sponge biscuit with sugary topping traditionally used in Tiramisu. Their origin is traced to the late 15th century, when they were created at the court of the Dukes of Savoy in tribute to a visit of the king of France.
Biscottificio di Verona was founded in Cerea, near Verona, in 1984 by Mr Marini. They have been producing pastries and bakery products ever since and their specialty is the Ladyfingers.
These delicious biscuits are an excellent ingredient to make a perfect homemade Tiramisu or Trifle. They are also a nice treat on their own served with some coffee or ice cream!
