Lina Stores Tuna and Capers Tomato Sauce combines fresh tomatoes with tuna and capers. The tuna is sustainably sourced from the Ionian Sea and capers are harvested locally. This is a great sauce to use in ragù and pasta dishes.
Organically grown in the open fields of Ugento, Puglia, the tomatoes are hand-harvested in July and August, then carefully scalded, ground and naturally pasteurised the same day to lock in their freshness.
Perfect for any occasion, simply heat for 5 minutes to release the authentic aromas of Italy right in your home.
Portion size
250g serves 2 x 125g portions of pasta.
Cooking Instructions
Warm the sauce on low heat in a pan until heated through. Add cooked pasta to the sauce with some cooking water and mix until fully incorporated. Plate with freshly grated Parmigiano Reggiano.
Storage
Consume by use-by date or on the day of delivery for nationwide orders. Store in the fridge after opening and consume within 7 days.
