One of the most renowned Tuscan cheeses, this Pecorino is from Pienza, which is an area within the province of Siena. This sheep's milk cheese is crumbly, white, dry, with a delicate flavour. The minimum ageing period of 90 days produces quite a hard cheese. This particular variety is encased in a black wax rind to protect the integrity of the cheese.

Excellent on a cheese board or enjoyed on its own.
