An Italian Christmas tradition, Torrone comes in many different varieties according to regional traditions and has been enjoyed since the ancient Roman times. Torrone is a sweet nougat typically made from honey, sugar, egg white and toasted nuts and/or dried fruits.
This version is filled with pistachios and is best enjoyed alongside a cup of coffee or tea.
