We have been making fresh homemade pasta since we first opened our delicatessen in Soho in 1944.

Description

Pappardelle is a broad ribbon shaped pasta originating from Emilia-Romagna. The width varies from region to region. Traditionally served with a rich meat ragu or game sauce but also good with vegetables. Pair with our Bolognese ragÌ_ or our Umbrian Norcina sauce finished with Parmigiano Reggiano. For other ideas try frying mushrooms from our fruit and veg box with butter, white wine and thyme or stewed red and yellow peppers with Italian sausage.

Portion Size

500g, 3 - 4 portions (115g - 150g per person)

Cooking Instructions

Bring a pan of generously salted water to the boil.
